Ashley Judd to Discuss Sexual Abuse on Her Mother’s Talk Show

In her 2011 memoir, "All That is Bitter and Sweet," Ashley Judd shed light on a surprising and lonely childhood – and revealed that she had been sexually abused at the hands of numerous men, including a family member, whose name she did not mention.

Following the book's release, her famously tumultuous family, namely mother Naomi and sister Wynonna of the country singing duo The Judds, were reported to be upset by many of the memoir's revelations. Publicly, however, Wynonna and Naomi said they supported Ashley's decision and right to publish the book and they would "agree to disagree" over some of the details.

In later revelations, both Naomi and Wynonna admitted that each of them had been sexually abused as well, but had been too ashamed to discuss it before.

Now, the mother and daughter have chosen to discuss Ashley's sexual abuse for the first time, and are doing it on Naomi's satellite radio show, "Think Twice." The program will air at 10 a.m. ET on Friday, June 8, on SiriusXM's channel 107.
